My love of travel has taken my camera and I around the world. Some of my many adventures include: storm chasing in The Great Plains and Desert Southwest, road tripping in Iceland and Ireland, living la dolce vida in Italy, trekking to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, snorkeling in and flying above the Great Barrier Reef, doing my first solo hike along the coast of New Zealand on a section of the Hillary Trail, nearly summiting Aconcagua in Argentina, and making two solo road trips from Michigan to Washington (the state). My most recent adventure took me back to South America where I visited my birth country and city of Bogotá, Colombia for three weeks. I followed that up with two weeks in Quito, Ecuador to explore the capital and get some time in the outdoors. I continue to travel when I can and always agonize over what camera gear to take with me and leave at home.
I was raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Grand Valley State University. I now currently reside in Washington and love being on the trails and among the mountains!
Feel free to browse through my portfolio, read the blog about my travels and personal epiphanies, or send me a message if you’re interested in my work!
